Vicki

Office Manager, Registered Dental Assistant

    Vicki has dedicated over 40 years to the dental field, starting her career as a dental assistant in 1981. Her interest in dental administration and organization led her to the front office, eventually becoming Office Manager for Dr. Hardt in 1997.

    She excels in management, emphasizing respect for her team and patients alike, striving to build trust and foster positive relationships. Vicki enjoys overseeing day-to-day operations, managing finances, setting goals, and working closely with patients. She values working alongside her daughter, sister, and the entire team at Dr. Hardt’s practice.

    Outside of work, Vicki treasures spending time with her husband Randall, their four adult children, and seven grandchildren, as well as with extended family and friends. She loves yoga, paddle boarding, hiking, and relaxing on the beach, where she can watch the ocean waves and soak in beautiful sunsets.

    Serena

    Assistant Office Manager

      Serena was born and raised here in the central valley. Inspired by her mother’s career, she began her training as a dental assistant with Dr. Hardt at the age of 26, and then later transitioned to the front office. She feels very blessed to work alongside her mom Vicki and Aunt Laura.

      Serena’s welcoming smile, energetic personality, and attention to detail gives her the ability to connect well with patients. She is devoted to helping them with every step of their dental visit from making them feel comfortable, scheduling their appointments, helping with dental insurance, to answering any questions or concerns. She is dedicated to helping her team members with any needs they may have as well. We are delighted to have her as an essential part of our team.

      Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her husband Lance, her son Avery, and her daughter Gracie. She loves camping and watching her kiddos compete in junior rodeos and team roping events. Her family and friends are her happy place.

      Laura

      Hygiene Coordinator

        Laura was born and raised in Porterville, and she has two daughters and two grandsons. Her journey into dentistry began when her sister Vicki started working at Dr. Baughman’s office. She loved the idea of being involved with dentistry and asked Vicki to help her get started.

        Laura started working for Dr. Baughman in 1992 and then with Dr. Hardt in 1996. She left for a time while her children were growing up and was very excited to rejoin the world of dentistry in 2022. Laura feels incredibly blessed to be working with her sister and niece.

        Outside of work, Laura enjoys quality time with her family and friends, paddleboarding, travel, and loves going on long walks (especially on the beach, if she happens to be there).

        Lisa

        Registered Dental Hygienist

        • 20 Years of Dental Experience

          Born, raised, and still residing in Exeter, Lisa has been married to her husband for 36 years. After obtaining her Associate's degree from the College of the Sequoias in 1987, she embarked on a career in the insurance industry.

          However, her passion for dental health led her back to school, culminating in her graduation from the Dental Hygiene Program at Fresno City College in 2004. She was fortunate to start working for Dr. Hardt in November 2005, a position she has held and cherished ever since. Lisa is proud to bring 20 years of dental experience to the practice.

          Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her three children and grandchild, traveling, and making the most of the Central Coast's beautiful scenery.

          Diane

          Registered Dental Hygienist

          • 20+ years of experience

            Diane, originally from Fresno, California, is the youngest of two sisters and has been married to her husband Pat for 19 years. They have a son who, along with his wife and their two grandsons, lives in Clovis.

            Diane's career in the dental field spans 28 years, during which she has worked in various specialties including orthodontics, pedodontics, and general dentistry. Her journey began after a personal experience with orthodontics in the sixth grade sparked her interest in dental hygiene.

            Initially, Diane pursued dental assisting at San Joaquin Valley College, becoming a Registered Dental Assistant before completing her prerequisites and graduating from the dental hygiene program at Fresno City College. She has now been a dedicated dental hygienist for 20 years.

            Outside of her professional life, Diane enjoys camping in her fifth-wheel trailer, gardening, grilling, traveling, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends.

            She recently celebrated her second anniversary at Dr. Hardt's dental practice, where she appreciates the opportunity to build personal relationships with her patients and provide top-notch dental hygiene care.

            Shyanne

            Registered Dental Hygienist

            • San Joaquin Valley College

              Shyanne's dental career began in 2014, when she graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with a degree in Dental Assisting. Shortly after her graduation, she worked as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for Dr. Nichols for approximately a year.

              When Dr. Hardt acquired the practice, Shyanne continued working there, spending the next five years under his guidance. Despite her love for the job, she felt a strong desire to advance her career.

              After six years of working as an RDA, Shyanne made the decision to further her education. She returned to SJVC in Visalia to enroll in the Dental Hygiene program, from which she graduated in March of 2022.

              Outside of her professional life, Shyanne enjoys spending time with her family, her boyfriend Eyron, and their two golden retrievers, Marley and Darla.

              Roxanne

              Lead Registered Dental Assistant

                Roxanne was born, raised, and still resides in Porterville. She graduated from Monache High School in 1990. Married for 25 years, she cherishes her growing family of children and grandchildren.

                In late 2007, Roxanne joined Dr. Hardt DDS as our expeditor. Her dedication and hard work quickly led to her role as a dental assistant. Roxanne’s bright smile is always a welcome sight as she consistently exceeds expectations in her duties, embodying unwavering commitment to our company’s goals.

                Roxanne consistently completes tasks with exceptional diligence, maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability in all her work. Dependable and with a strong work ethic, she is genuinely invested in the team’s and organization’s success.

                Outside of work, Roxanne enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling, and creating lasting memories with loved ones.

                Anabel

                Registered Dental Assistant and Removable Prosthetics

                  Anabel has been an RDA with Dr. Hardt for ten years. She graduated from the dental assistant program at SJVC in Visalia in 2014 and was hired by Dr. Hardt three months later. Since then, she has held her license through the state of California.

                  The dental field is a passion of Anabel's because it allows her to help people in ways she never imagined. Anabel is dedicated to continuous learning and always seeks out ways to enhance her knowledge and skills.

                  Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family at the beach and in the mountains.

                  Nancy

                  Dental Assistant and Lab Design

                    Nancy Fernandez is a dedicated and experienced dental assistant from Porterville, CA. She graduated from Porterville Adult School, where she earned her high school diploma and completed vocational training in medical billing and coding.

                    Nancy began her career in the dental field in 2016 doing sterilization with Dr. Hardt, where she worked for two years before advancing to become a dental assistant. Since then, she has been working chairside with Dr. Hardt for 6 years.

                    Nancy's goal is to further specialize in promoting oral health awareness in her community as well as getting her RDA license to further her education. With over eight years in the field, she has honed her skills and expertise, providing top-notch support in dental practices.

                    Outside of her professional life, Nancy enjoys spending time with her two boys and husband. She is committed to continuing her education and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental care to ensure she provides the best possible service to her patients.

                    Mercedes

                    Dental Assistant and Facilitator

                      Mercedes is a dedicated and detail-oriented dental assistant and expeditor. She graduated from Monache High School in 2012 and began her dental education in 2017, completing the program from San Joaquin Valley College in 2019.

                      Mercedes has worked at various dental offices before joining Dr. Hardt's practice in 2021. Here, she has honed her skills and gained extensive experience in both clinical and administrative roles. As a dental assistant, she take pride in providing top-notch clinical support to dentists during procedures and ensuring the dental office runs smoothly and efficiently. Her primary goal is to enhance the overall patient experience by minimizing wait times and optimizing the efficiency of our dental practice.

                      In her free time, Mercedes enjoys spending time with her partner, Josh, and her son, Wyatt. Wyatt is heavily involved in sports such as football, wrestling, and baseball, so when they are not at a tournament or game, they enjoy their time at home with their Great Dane, Cleo, and Chihuahua, Otis. Additionally, Mercedes occasionally makes flower arrangements for friends and family members, but her heart lies in the dental field with Dr. Hardt and her co-workers.
